Creativity Is Contagious, Pass it On

"Creativity Is Contagious, Pass It On." is a Potluck Publication that consists of a collection holding design related articles. Each student designed their articles to fit the voice spoken by the authors. We were also given restrictions of the booklets and the task to formulate a bounded publication to the interest of the student. Unfortunately for me, I did not consider the aesthetics of this publication. The design I had created for the over all book (e.g: Contents, title page) were quite bold and stood out with eye-catching colors - this did not match the cover of the book.  With this failure in mind, I do believe I succeeded in communicating a particular voice with the article I selected, this was "Why Write About Graphic Design" by Jessica Helfand (Check out the Design Observer to find awesome articles dedicated to creativity and more https://designobserver.com/). I chose to utilize a whale as a motif for Jessica, and the ocean as the design world. This project was illustrative.
